  MERIAL Recombitek® West Nile vaccine from Merial is recommended for the vaccination of healthy horses as an aid in the prevention of viremia due to West Nile Virus (WNV). Provides early protection (within 14 days) after a two-dose vaccination. Contains live canarypox vector, which does not replicate in mammals, eliminating the risk of viral shedding or reversion to virulence. Dosage: 1 ml IM, repeat in 4-6 wks. Annual revaccination recommended. |
