  MERCK DISCONTINUED For use in healthy swine as an aid in prevention of rotaviral diarrhea and TGE in their nursing piglets. Contains TGE and two major Rotavirus subtypes. DOSAGE/ADMINISTRATION: Oral Method - Vaccinate healthy pregnant swine with three doses: 5 weeks and 3 weeks (oral) and 1 week (intramuscularly) before farrowing. Injection Method - Vaccinate healthy pregnant swine with two intramuscular doses: 5 weeks and 2 weeks before each farrowing. Oral Vaccination: Withhold feed overnight. Restore desiccated virus vaccine with diluent: add cool 5% rehydrated or pasteurized milk, one dose per quart; add only clean ground corn until thickened, feed to sow. Intramuscular vaccination: Inject 2 mL restored vaccine, using aseptic procedures. |
