For use in healthy swine as an aid in the prevention of atrophic rhinitis and pneumonia caused by Bordetella bronchiseptica, Pasteurella multocida (toxigenic types A and D, nontoxigenic type A), pneumonia caused by Mycoplasma hyopneumoniae, and erysipelas caused by Erysipelothrix rhusiopathiae.
An inactivated, adjuvanted bacterin-toxoid product containing B. bronchiseptica, E. rhuiopathiae, M. hyopneumoniae, and P. multocida nontoxigenic type A and toxigenic type D.
DOSAGE/ADMINISTRATION:
Shake well, inject intramuscularly (IM) or subcutaneously (SQ).
Sows and Gilts: Administer a 2 mL dose at 5 weeks and again at 2 weeks before farrowing. For subsequent farrowings, administer one 2 mL dose at 1-2 weeks before farrowing.
Baby Pigs from Vaccinated Sows: Administer one 1 mL dose at 5-7 days and again at 23-28 days of age.
Feeder Pig Vaccination: Administer one 1 mL dose at weaning (3 weeks of age); one 1 mL dose 3 weeks later.
Boars: Administer two 2 ml doses three weeks apart prior to breeding herd introduction. Annual revaccination with one 2 mL dose is recommended.
