  BOEHRINGER INGELHEIM A vaccine that is proven safe in pigs as well as non-pregnant sows and gilts in PRRS positive herds. It provides cross protection against homologous and heterologous (Lelystad virus) challenge and has shown to significantly reduce reproductive failure and respiratory disease due to PRRS virus. DOASGE/ADMINISTRATION: Ingelvac PRRS MLV utilizes the same intramuscular dose size (2 mL) for pigs and breeding-age females. Pigs: Ingelvac PRRS MLV is recommended for use in healthy susceptible swine in PRRS virus-positive herds according to label direction. Using aseptic technique, administer a single 2 mL dose intramuscularly to pigs 3 weeks of age or older, as an aid in the reduction of disease associated with PRRS. The duration of immunity is throughout the finishing or gestation period, or up to 4 months post-vaccination. Sows & Gilts: Ingelvac PRRS MLV is recommended for use in healthy susceptible swine in PRRS virus positive herds according to label directions.
