  BOEHRINGER In cattle, for the prevention of urinary shedding of L. borgpetersenii serovar hardjo (type hardjo-bovis). Vaccinated animals subsequently exposed to L. borgpetersenii serovar hardjo (type hardjo-bovis) have been shown to clear renal infections within 8 weeks of exposure. For vaccination of healthy, susceptible cattle and swine as an aid in the reduction of leptospirosis caused by Leptospira canicola, L. grippotyphosa, L. hardjo, L. icterohaemorrhagiae, and L. pomona. DOSAGE/ADMINISTRATION: Using aseptic technique, inject 2 mL subcutaneously or intramuscularly in healthy cattle of any age, or intramuscularly in swine of any age. A second dose is recommended 3 to 6 weeks later. Cattle and swine vaccinated at an early age should be revaccinated after weaning. Repeat with a single 2 mL booster dose annually or prior to each breeding. Precautions: Store out of direct sunlight at 35 - 45°F (2 - 7°C). Avoid freezing.
